In 2019, I was diagnosed with Alopecia universalis, an autoimmune condition resulting in total hair loss, which profoundly impacted my mental well-being. As I experienced stress and anxiety related to this life change, my daily existence became increasingly difficult, leading to significant depression. However, turning to yoga marked a transformative period in my life. Yoga has been shown to enhance mental health by alleviating stress and fostering relaxation through techniques like meditation and breathing exercises. Additionally, sound bowl therapy, utilizing Tibetan singing bowls, provided me with emotional release and improved clarity. This holistic practice promotes healing through soothing vibrations, further contributing to my spiritual and mental wellness. As I immersed myself in these practices, I developed self-love and embraced my identity, ultimately prompting me to complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). This endeavor, alongside further certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Sound Healing, equipped me to share my journey and foster growth in others.
